North Island 6-Day + South Island 8-Day 13-Day Tour

The first day of the North Island itinerary, exploring sea-carved wonders such as Three Sisters Beach (sites are arranged according to the daily tides). Arrive in New Plymouth in the evening.

After breakfast, stroll the artistic Fishbone Bridge walkway and look out over the Tasman Sea and the majestic Mount Taranaki. Travel to Hobbiton in the central North Island, the filming location for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, and step into the astonishing film sets: the Hobbit Holes, the Party Tree and the Green Dragon Inn. Arrive in Rotorua, the land of the Māori, in the afternoon, then ride the Skyline Gondola in the evening for panoramic views of Rotorua and a buffet meal at the scenic restaurant (the Skyline Luge is available at your own expense). In the evening, we recommend the world top-10 Polynesian geothermal hot pools on the lakefront, at your own expense. Hotel: Sudima Lake Rotorua or an equivalent 4-star hotel.

In the morning, visit Agrodome Farm: a farm sightseeing vehicle, close encounters with the animals, a farm experience tour and a sheep-shearing show; then head to Whakarewarewa Māori Village to experience Māori culture and geothermal wonders. Return to Auckland in the afternoon. Hotel: Sudima Lake Rotorua or an equivalent 4-star hotel.
